The dance school was founded by Kontchou Gbessi, a professional dancer and choreographer who has been working in the dance industry for more than 20 years. Afro Dance fromWien offers a wide range of dance styles and courses for all ages and abilities.

Our mission

Our mission is to inspire and support people to move and expand their bodies and minds through dance. We believe that dance is an essential part of life and that it helps us to develop our creativity and our ability to relax and enjoy ourselves. We want to encourage people to move and explore through dance. Our aim is to raise awareness of African dance styles in Vienna and to promote the diversity of African culture.

Our offer

Afro Dance fromWien offers a variety of courses and workshops aimed at all ages and abilities. We offer classes in African dance styles such as Kizomba, Soukous, Afro-House, Afro-Pop, Salsa and many others. Our courses are designed to give both beginners and advanced dancers the opportunity to move and dance in a comfortable and safe environment. We also offer workshops for children and teenagers that are specifically designed to meet the needs of children and teenagers.

Our team consists of experienced dancers and choreographers who all have a passion for African dance styles. Our courses
