Waldviertel Express is a dance ensemble from GmündAustria. It was founded in 2004 and has since developed into one of the leading dance ensembles in Austria. Waldviertel Express is an innovative and dynamic ensemble that specializes in interpreting and conveying dance styles from all over the world.

Our approach

Waldviertel Express is not only about mastering individual dance styles, but also about seeing and understanding them in context. We try to grasp the cultural and social aspects of the different dance styles and reflect them in our interpretations. We also try to inspire our audience through our commitment and enthusiasm for dance.

Our repertoire

Waldviertel Express strives to present a broad spectrum of dance styles. Our repertoire includes both traditional and modern dances from all over the world. Our focus is on dances from Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia. In addition to classical ballet and other classical dance styles, we also offer jazz, modern, hip-hop, salsa, tango and many others. Our aim is to inspire our audience with our creativity, our energy and our passion for dance.

Waldviertel Express consists of a team of professional and talented dancers, all of whom have many years of experience in different dance styles. Each dancer brings their own personality and their own interpretation of the dance. Our team consists of choreographers, teachers and dancers who all pull together to inspire our audience with our dance interpretations.
